Beaches

Harbor Cove Beach: Comming from the 101 take the Seaward exit and turn toward the ocean. Make a left on Harbor Blvd. Turn right on Spinnaker Drive. The parking lot is at the end of the road on the left.

Marina Park: Coming from the 101, take the Seaward Avenue exit and turn toward the ocean. Turn left on Pierpoint Avenue, then drive until the road's end.

Rincon Beach: From the 101, take the Bates Road exit. Parking is to the left, the surf zone is to the right.

San Buenaventura Beach: Take the 101 to Seaward Avenue. Turn right on Harbor Blvd. There are two entrances to the beach. One directly on your left (for swimming and camping) and one half a mile firther on the left (Swimming, Pier, and Restaurant)

Seaward Avenue Beach: From the 101 take the Seaward Avenue exit and turn toward the ocean. There is some parking at the end of the road, but most of the parking is on the street.

Surfers Knoll Beach: From the 101 take the Seaward exit and turn toward the ocean. Make a left on Harbor Blvd. Turn right at Spinnaker. Parking is on the left.

Surfers Point at Seaside Park: From the 101 take the Seaward Ave, or California Street, Exit. Turn left toward the ocean. Take a right on Harbor Blvd. Turn left at seaside park. Parking is straight ahead and to the right.

Surfing

County Line: North of Malibu and south of Point Mugu. A Big-wave surfing area. To access, park on Pacific Coast Highway and hike down an embankment.

Silver Strand: Located in Oxnard. Known for good shaped waves and easy access. Home of the top professional surfer, Tim Curran

Surfers Point at Seaside Park: Located near Surfside Park. Top longboard surfing area. Known for long waves that can be large. Small parking lot facing the area or paid parking at Ventura County Fairgrounds.

Emma Wood State Beach: Great for beginners and advanced surfers. With a forgiving wave, it is a great starting place.

Rincon Point: 20 minutes north of Ventura. Known worldwide as one of the best surfing areas along the California Coast.

Carpinteria: Just north of the Ventura-Santa Barbara county line.
